jopokey
I am currently looking at applying for a visa as a special needs teacher as I am studying for an MA in SEN and work as a SEN teacher. However I have only done this for 2 years and wonder if my previous experience as a primary teacher would be classed as 'closely related' (I have a 4 year degree and 45 day teaching practice). Richard Gregan
Closely related means the first four digits of the Anzsco are the same. Regards, Richard

Jlwalby25
Hi, I’m in a similar situation. I was wondering if you could tell me how much SEN teaching experience they want for a SEN teacher.
Richard Gregan
AITSL don't require work experience for the skills application, but you may need work experience for points and/or to meet state sponsorship requirements if applicable. It's impossible to provide specific advice without having all the details of your case. Regards, Richard
