Read an article today in the Guardian about how free trade in the sugar industry will wipe out english sugar beet farmers as Tate and Lyle, an american owned firm, will be free to buy sugar cane at rock bottom prices from Brazil after brexit which will undercut British sugar and sugar beet producers in East of England.
