KangaKit
Hello, I have been looking everywhere for the answer to my question but can't seem to find the answer....My husband, myself and our children will be applying for PR189 (subject to EOI invitation) as soon as my skills assessment is approved, however would I be able to add my husband's older son (age 28) to the application as he is not dependent ...and if not are we able to sponsor him at a later point? Leanne Stevens
Hi KangaKit, unfortunately I don't think this will be possible for you. A child can be a member of the family unit up to 23; as long as they are dependent. Once your visa is granted, you could only assist him through family sponsorship if you live in a regional area and he has an occupation which is available on a list of in-demand occupations.
