Vickey Perales
Hi. My Mom-in-law lives in Sydney. She told me she's planning to put up a small cafe near her place. What food safety do you use in Australia? She asked for my help to do the research.
Guest The Pom Queen
When you say put up a new cafe what do you mean? Is she building or buying a shop and converting it? Have a peak here hopefully this will help http://www.foodauthority.nsw.gov.au/retail/cafes-restaurants-and-retail-outlets
ali
She will also have to apply for an ABN as she'll be running a business.
Vickey Perales
Thanks for your response. Actually, she saw a foreclosed property that she thinks might be a good location for a cafe. It will just be a small establishment, and I think it can only accommodate around 20 people at a single time. We have not actually inquired anything about permits yet because the purchase of the actual place is still in process. Last question, will she be required to have a food safety risk management software considering that it is only a cafe and can only accommodate a very limited number of customer just in case.
