Nursedonna
Hello please could you give some advise as to where we stand as would like to migrate to Australia, but fear we may have left it to late and time running out... heres the situation: i am a registered nurse with 7 years work experience, I am a diploma nurse. But am currently doing a post grad diploma with work and will be finished in September 18, this will give me the bachelor degree needed for aphra registration. I have done IELTS about 5 years ago and got 8.5 overall. my husband's occupation is similar to that of a drainer, he has 20 years work experience but no formal qualifications, he is also self employed. Really don't know how to get his skills assessed to gain 5 points we would require. we were hoping to apply for state sponsorship PR after I finish my degree, but am worried as our ages will be around 47 then. I am nervous to go for 457 sponsorship when i apply for my nursing registration as if it all goes pear shaped we have 4 young children to think about. any advise would be great. thank you so much.... wrussell
You really should think about consulting a registered migration agent for advice about your possible visa strategies. Subclass 457 is the last card in the pack where children are involved.
