gambale
Hey all. I'm researching supporting documents that I need to take with me when we fly out at the end of Jan. I've read on various checklists online that I should request "credit references" from my bank and mortgage lender. Before I go trying to source these... what exactly would these help with? Applying for rental etc? In case relevant, I have a job secured already and plan to find a long term rental within the first few weeks. Cheers! blossom
I also didn't take any and can't see how it would be helpful. You have to build up your credit reference file here, it can't just be switched over. You might want proof you have paid your mortgage on time to show a real estate agent, but we just showed them a Bank statement showing we had enough money to pay the rent for a fair bit and that worked.
