Open return date

Hi all need to fly back to the uk on saturday and just wondering if you can buy a return ticket with no date of return?

Not sure if they are as common as they once were.

 

You can book a flight with options to change the return date. Just need to ensure you get that option when you book the flight. We did that with a couple of flights in recent years iirc although we didn't need to change the flight date in the end.

I've booked return tickets (put your fictitious return date as far into the future as possible) and then changed the date as the fictitious return date gets closer - there is usually a fee to do this and you need to check the small print before booking!
