Adding a baby after visa grant

@Bound4Tassie hope you don't mind me butting in the thread but I have just been granted my 189 visa and need to enter before Aug 2017, but I want another baby in the UK first. Do you know how easy the process is to add a newborn to the visa? I imagine they would be almost guaranteed entry if the rest of the family have??

You cant add anyone to the visa once it is granted. If you have a baby now in the UK it will need a separate child visa.

If you had a child born in Australia s/he would be an Australian citizen by birth and Medicare would cover the confinement costs.

The only criteria a new baby would need to meet is passing the medical.

 

Are you pushing this a bit if you want to have a baby in the UK before your trip in August? I am not sure I understand how you are calculating those timings?

We are going in feb to activate visa then coming back to UK , need to sort out business out before we make big move.
