Hello All,

I'm Jay. Planning for Master's in Information Technology. I googled that, studying in regional area with low population will add 5 points for PR application. Is that right and any other conditions are there for this 5 points? If yes, please suggest me with universities in regional area.

No, it is something that if you want any permanent visa you will need to apply. Studying in Australia will not give rise to the right to apply for a permanent visa. You would need to have a positive skills assessment regardless of points. No positive skills assessment and no visa.

Check regulation 1.15F

May I suggest that you consult a registered migration agent before you commit to a course of action?
