Ryan griffiths
Hello my name is Ryan I'm 25 and in Australia, I'm a qualified vehicle spray painter and looking to gain permanent residency and not sure the best way to go about it or what visa to take ie skilled sponsor or 457 ect I was just wondering if any one else has been through the process and could give me some direction. My idea was to just go into crash repairs and see what they offer any help would be appreciated cheers Ryan

It also is a bit out of your control as you need to find the willing employer sponsorship first. Are you in Australia now? Have you tried any repair shops yet to gauge level of need? A skilled migrant visa which is permanent, would require state sponsorship and currently NT, Tasmania and SA are states that have Vehicle Spraypsinter on their lists. However you would need to bear in mind that these states are very unlikely to sponsor you if you are living elsewhere in Australia at the time if your application for sponsorship - it would be better to be back in the UK even then in another state.
