tomo3666 Posted November 29, 2016 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Hi All, Following my post from last night regarding sponsorship for the 457 visa, my employer has contacted me and will be looking to go down the nomination for 186 PR route through the Direct Entry stream. I've done some research myself and can see the process can take 6 months to complete. Is it the same as the 457, where the 'clock stops' on your current visa? Is this potentially a better way to go than the 457, as this is most defiantly a long term plan for both my employer an myself?
