TeacherSam
Hi, If anyone can help I would be so grateful. I want to apply for the 489/190 visa. I think I may have the necessary subject specialism that is required for Queensland but need it clarified. Queensland have specified that if you are a Manual Arts teacher (Design) you can apply for the visa but I am unclear as to whether I would qualify. I have taught Art and Design Technology - Textiles and Graphics in the UK. Does anyone know if this would be enough or does Manual Arts mean that the teacher is trained to teach a whole range of specialisms? Thanks for replies in advance. Quoll
Dunno about Qld but our MA teachers were into woodwork and metal work rather than textiles. Not sure whether the design element would reflect that. http://education.qld.gov.au/health/safety/managing/industrial-technology-design.html Might be handy
