koxxwasp Posted November 15, 2016 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Hi we have been in Australia for 8 years now. Loved almost every minute. Started in sunny Mackay then moved to Brisbane. Interested to know how others in the manufacturing /management areas have faired with being treat as equals. I was with the same company that I originally came over with for 6 1/2 years, worked my way up to a managers position but never received the pay and conditions others were on. I now work for the competition in Brisbane and have done so since we moved here and I am finding myself in the same situation. Has anyone else come across the same issues and if so what have you done to deal with it. We have had an absolute ball, seen and done so much, things we could have only dreamt of doing back home. Work ethic is not an issue, never take time off sick and put some big hours and effort into every day. It is a little frustrating to be honest.
