Guest
Do you know if the companies nomination had been accepted before you applied for your visa? As I understand it there are two parts to a 457 - the first part the employer applies for & this is where they have to prove they can support the sponsored person, cannot find suitable local people etc. Once that is approved (& I have no idea how long that takes) then the employee applies for their visa and ours took under a month. I am just wondering if your employer hasn't sponsored anyone before whether their part is all in place?
Guest
This is quite a good summary of the process: http://www.hallandwilcox.com.au/app/uploads/2016/08/HW0047_Visa-457-Article_v2.pdf
Raul Senise
Requested more documents: police check If a Police Check has been requested by the Immigration Department for a subclass 457 visa, it means that you have a criminal history which can delay the processing of the application. Have you researched whether you meet the "character requirements" for this visa?

So I don't know what's happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
