Pommie574
Hello, I was wondering if I could get some advice. Me and my wife have been together nearly 5 years. Married for 1 year, and we have 1 son. My wife is australian, I am british and our son is in the process of getting both passports. We are thinking of applying for the 300/100 visa offshore (from uk). 1. What are the chances of me getting the 100 visa straight away? 2. Is there an expiry date on the visa, as we might not be able to move straight away? We can activate the visa with a holiday to oz but moving there will be a while due to family commitments. 3. If there is an expiry, is there any way we could do the visa now but move 4/5 years? any help is greatly appreciated d
wrussell
You cannot apply for a 300 Prospective marriage visa if you are already married. Assuming you meant 309/100, form what you have posted you should be granted a 100 in the first instance. A 100 is permanent the travel right expires after 5 years.
