Joining the Army Reserves as a PR - Ex British Army

Hi all

 

Been here in Oz and loving it for 3 years and got PR 6 months ago. I actually handed my British Army ID card in 12 months ago after 20+ years Regular and Reserve Service.

 

I have been going through the recruitment process and have passed everything so far and offered the roles I was interested in (including medical)

 

I knew that there were citizenship requirements (so did Defence of course) but the application was processed anyway and they are applying for a citizenship waiver apparently...Anybody been through the same process with a positive result?

 

I am not getting any younger so this might be my last opportunity, waiting another 12 months might be an issue
