Should I submit a letter from my employer confirming employment for the Partner Visa 820/801?

The Partner Migration booklet only seems to request employment details for my wife (the sponsor).

The visa application does ask how financial responsibilities are divided within our relationship - so I'm guessing it will be useful to show, financially speaking, that I pull my own weight.

Should I ask my company to provide me with a headed letter stating that I am in employment with them?

What key/important details should I request them to include?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

It would not hurt to provide this information.

Thanks for the response Leanne.

I have requested this information from my employer and asked them to also include in the letter that my wife is down as my next of kin.

I intend to make reference to this in the "nature of the commitment the applicant and the sponsor have to each other" box on page 17 of the ImmiAccount application.
