The Raillys
Yes I am asking about cat trees! lol My cats love theirs and are just trying to work out if it I should be shipping them to OZ? I like nice looking cat trees. No Faux fur! We love Karlie, Vesper & Pet pals cat trees, but none of these brands are available in Australia. I have searched online for cat trees Australia and all I get is Faux fur ones. Has anyone in Australia found a more stylish option? Thanks
Patphillips47
To be honest you would need to ensure it was treated timber and also if there is cane on it there could be a problem with quarantine Company shipping our dog to Oz stamp on their hand made timber crates that they are treated
The Raillys
good point! Thank you I never thought about that. I am sure the vesper ones are just like an other piece of furniture, but maybe the woven baskets could cause an issue? paisleylass
If your cats love them, ship them for sure! Any nicer options available here would probably be very pricy. My little ratbag is happiest with cardboard boxes and climbing bookcases so we haven't bought him a cat tree!

Thinking they could as you can't be sure or origin or treatment I always tell the tale of us having a wand all of 4 inches long taken off Santa and they want around $ 100 to fumigate ! LKC
Check with the shipping company. Maybe they will know if they are okay to ship. I've only seen the cheaper type here, although I've not looked for anything more fancy. My four are hooligans so I get the cheaper ones, so they can trash them and then I can replace it. The cat tree is out of the way in the garage though (they have their own area there with comfy hides holes and things to climb on and play with) so I don't have to look at it! Keith and Linda
A rose tree or cactus!
calNgary
A quick google shows you can buy these here, so unless yours are new in boxes i am not sure id risk quarantine as fumigation costs a fortune if they are not happy with them. blossom
Those ones are lovely. All the ones I've seen here have been faux fur too I'm afraid.
Guest The Pom Queen
Pet stock sell Pet Pals ones. https://www.petstock.com.au/products/132811000239?gclid=CNOppf7Dy8sCFdcRvQodQJQCJA To be honest I've seen some gorgeous ones in America over the years but never seen anything that has the wow factor here or when I was in the UK
marenmatt1
You won't find one that nice sadly. I'm not sure where in Aus you are moving but in Brisbane you can buy ones with carpet to scratch from the big pet shops but they are quite expensive & not always the most sturdy. Otherwise there is someone in Brisbane who makes them by hand to your design (if they can) again is quite expensive though.

I like it although a little small. That website even has the vesper ones! But they are more expensive in OZ. As can be expected. I did find a few other good ones. Harvey Norman http://www.harveynorman.com.au/sports-camping-pets/cats/petpals-penthouse-natural-cat-scratcher-and-lounger.html http://www.harveynorman.com.au/sports-camping-pets/cats/petpals-ace-cat-scratcher-and-lounger.html and http://www.mypetwarehouse.com.au/pawise-platform-twin-seagrass-house-and-play-toy-p-22922 but the prices are nearly twice as expensive!
