Guys - i have a query, i have lodged 489 SS Visa for SA on August 17, 2016 and uploaded all document including PCC and medical on September 8, 2016. My status is showing as received. How long does it take to get the file to progress or assigning of CO. Please share your thoughts...Thanks Deepali

Friends I have been waiting for 489 for Adelaide from last 5 months. 

1. CO (from Brisbane office) allocated on 27 Jan 2017.

2. Re-medical cleared on 1st April. Since then not heard from CO. All required docs including form 80 & form 1221 submitted.

3. I have 80 points and my occupation is Marketing specialist.

One email follow up done on 7th June with the CO but no reply.

SHOULD I CALL DIBP? Is it advisable? 

or

SHOULD I WRITE ONE MORE EMAIL?

Any suggestion or tips? Long waiting is killing. There are few friends who got their 489 visa recently in 15 day to 25 days and my waiting is more than 5 months. I understand that there is no fixed timeline and this varies from case to case.

But anyone with similar case! Hope to get some update soon!

Other threads will show you that there are a number of people in a similar situation as you. As far as I'm aware, following up with an email is just going to get you a standard reply (if any).
