flag of convenience
It's a billabong hat actually! Can't I get mates rates on the membership? Hostels took a large chunk of my money but honestly I don't know what I spent the rest on. Food I suppose and the occasional night out. And phone topups! I was in the super market yesterday and I couldn't help looking at the prices again. I still don't find most things more expensive than back home, there's the occasional thing but on the whole seems roughly the same. Meat seems to be a little bit cheaper. Not many 'mates' on forums I'm afraid. Eating out would do it, even if attempting to keep it cheap. It is the all round expenses that mount up. But like I say, lucky for you there has in fact been a 30% reduction in prices with the weak dollar.

Parley
Well its good enough for Quentin Tarantino. He absolutely loves it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2016/01/18/quentin-tarantino-vb_n_9014526.html
JockinTas
Perfectly understandable. VB should come with a health together with taste warning. Who in right mind would pay to drink that? I've been known to drink a cold VB on a hot day. Cheers Flag.

Although the imitation Stella in lidls is cheaper and taste good as long as you drink it from glass. Actually, my personal preference for beer in pewter ,(non lead of course) Now, where can I get a masters ice coffee?
Parley
I like VB but perhaps slightly prefer Carlton Draught and have been drinking that a bit more lately than VB.
Quokka2005
Our most popular one was Carlton dry and swan draught. And my boss drank the xxx gold. The only one I would maybe try is the fifty lashes one

ramot
Long noted. But probably best you are aware of your place in the picking order. This reminds me of the sketch with John Cleese, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett for those of you who watched it. John C. I'm upper class. Ronnie B. I'm middle class Ronnie C. I know my place Height of course had nothing to do with it!! Only quoted that small part but you get the drift. Good to know where you stand in life. flag of convenience
You have got no idea! No idea of your place in the picking/pecking order? It matters not to me. Nor would I be shocked. I only note the content of expression on this forum, I could care less about the rest.

Just as it is too stand by what you believe to be right and never be intimidated to do/act/be somebody else.
