You snob, you'll be knocking Jacob's creek next.

I suppose it does tarnish my working man creditability a bit. The link doesn't show but Jacob's doesn't rate to much above VB I'm afraid.

It's a billabong hat actually! Can't I get mates rates on the membership? Hostels took a large chunk of my money but honestly I don't know what I spent the rest on. Food I suppose and the occasional night out. And phone topups!

I was in the super market yesterday and I couldn't help looking at the prices again. I still don't find most things more expensive than back home, there's the occasional thing but on the whole seems roughly the same. Meat seems to be a little bit cheaper.

Not many 'mates' on forums I'm afraid. Eating out would do it, even if attempting to keep it cheap. It is the all round expenses that mount up. But like I say, lucky for you there has in fact been a 30% reduction in prices with the weak dollar.

Well its good enough for Quentin Tarantino.

He absolutely loves it.

Starting to get a taste for it, might have to pop into asda. Although the imitation Stella in lidls is cheaper and taste good as long as you drink it from glass.

Actually, my personal preference for beer in pewter ,(non lead of course)

Now, where can I get a masters ice coffee?

Long noted. But probably best you are aware of your place in the picking order.

This reminds me of the sketch with John Cleese, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett for those of you who watched it.

John C. I'm upper class.

Ronnie B. I'm middle class

Ronnie C. I know my place

Height of course had nothing to do with it!!

Only quoted that small part but you get the drift.

Good to know where you stand in life.

A well worn quote but a good one. Best to stand obviously on ones own two foot. Just as it is too stand by what you believe to be right and never be intimidated to do/act/be somebody else.
