Charlottehill76
Was wondering what people put for this question. " Why are you travelling to Australia?" Myself , husband and 19 yr old son are looking for new start in life, new experiences , hopefully better opportunities, better weather. my husband travelled there over 15 years ago and always wanted to go back and live in Sydney. It's taken till now to convince me and get the ball and endless forms rolling! we also have friends out there and one of which is the guy he travelled with and has now got citizenship and married with a baby. Not really sure what is best to say , don't want to put something they don't want to hear. any help is much appreciated.
CaptainC
Don't worry too much about this question. The form is generic to supplement all visas, so it's not really relevant. This is what I put.......
CaptainC
My visa was granted quickly and never questioned. Don't over elaborate, just stick to simple answers Edited January 13, 2016 by CaptainC

It's natural honestly. Even this time (my second visa) I still felt like I overdid things. Just pause and look at what the question is asking for, give enough to satisfy the question, and above all....don't waffle! [emoji6]
MaggieMay24
I simply put "Migration" and that was enough to pass.
