From the answers given, it seems that it doesnt affect anything once you are in Oz. You have a new credit rating and everything, apparently, they dont asked about your credit history in the Uk, they are just interested in what happens once you are in Oz. People on here have said that finances are not asked about on the visa applications. Thats just what Ive read on previous threads from people who have made the move already or are in the process. Guest adey Posted May 15, 2008 they don't check your credit rating back in the UK, I work for a mortgage broker and we only check Australian credit history. Not sure if it affects your visa?!? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
