Guest SuzieQ
Hi All, According to the ASPC the delay in acknowledging visa applications won't affect the date your application was received by them even though the delay can be 2 months for acknowledging receipt. That is what is says on their blurb for the latest processing dates. Can anyone confirm this? Its the date they received your visa application or the date the acknowledgement letter was received. Just noticed it is not actually dated. Looking for some good news here so please ...... make my day! Thanks. Sue
Guest Brissiebound
Hi SuzieQ, The date the application was received is what matters. We still have not even had acknowledgement yet and it arrived in Adelaide 21st August. We had to have this in before my wifes 45th birthday on 13th September so I called them and they confirmend that the date of actual receipt is your official date of application. Hope this puts your mind at rest. Steve
