Guest Arnold Posted October 8, 2006 Share Posted October 8, 2006 Hi all, Just rented our first place in Oz and thought we would post a check list of things you need to pass the application, never new this when we started so hopefully will help you guys too You must meet a 100 point requirement to rent in Australia, these 100 points are meet by, 50 point - Previous Oz proof of rent or proof of house sale in UK 40 point - Driving License Oz or UK 40 point - Medicare card, we used our E111 cards and were accepted 30 point - any photo ID 30 point - Passport 20 point - minimum two references from previous landlords/agents 10 point - Birth Certificate 10 point - Oz vehicle rego papers 10 point - Copies of recent utility bills, as proof of no default on payment Oz or UK Basicly anything you think will help bring it with you hope that helps Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
