lawyergal 11 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering how long it took for a CO to be allocated for people applying for the De Factor partner visa onshore? We applied in July before my working holiday visa ran out and uploaded most of our documents etc. However we only just this week finished uploading everything they need so assuming that we use this week as the start date how long will it take to hear from our CO? Its taken us a while to get sorted but hoping it won't be too much longer!?! :arghh: *edit should be 820/801 Edited October 31, 2014 by lawyergal Arrived in Australia on a working holiday visa 10/08/13 (to live with my partner), applied for De Facto Partner Visa 820/801 and granted bridging visa 09/07/14, last documents uploaded 22/12/14, contacted 09/07/15 by immigration and asked to have my medical done, medical completed 20/07/15, uploaded 27/07/15 and temporary partner visa (820) issued 27/07/15

MaggieMay24 1,518 Posted October 31, 2014 If you've included all documents including police checks and medicals, you may never hear from your CO until they're ready to grant your visa. Otherwise, they'll only contact you when they need further information/documents. The best thing you can do is focus on life and try not to worry about your visa application.
