Skani 5,342 Posted October 25, 2014 This is easy! In no particular order: 1. Rupert Murdoch 2. Scott Morrison 3. Tony Abot 4. Joe Hockey 5. Alan Jones Actually, I'll keep going 6. Andrew Bolt 7. George Brandis 8. John Howard 9. Jacqui Lambie 10. Phillip Ruddock Actually I could keep going, but I'll stop there. What's your 'top five'? Agree with most of your top 10...except I'd have to add Pyne and Abetz. Re Jacqui Lambie: although most of what she says makes me cringe, I have to confess that I find it refreshing to have comments which don't come via a highly paid media minder, or vacuous repetitions of "on message" slogans which have been decreed in that morning's party meeting. At least you get a level of honesty - however uncomfortable it may be - which has been lost elsewhere in Oz politics.
dmjg 4,061 Posted October 25, 2014 Joe HockeyChristopher Pyne Scott Morrison Margaret Court Rupert Murdoch Its easy to understand 4 of them, but why Margaret Court? She and Evonne Goolagong-Cawley put women's sport onto the map.
MicheleW 1,238 Posted October 25, 2014 Its easy to understand 4 of them, but why Margaret Court? She and Evonne Goolagong-Cawley put women's sport onto the map. She was great for women's sport, however it is the way she has voiced her views on other issues that has pulled her very down in my view: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Court#Views_on_homosexuality I realise that it is not an issue for most, particularly on PIO, but I see how much damage comments like those she has made has done and it has really stuck with me. Offshore partner visa sent 2/6/10, signed for 3/6/10, money taken 7/6/10, CO acknowledgement 9/6/10, PR Visa granted 28/9/10, Arrived in Brisbane 5/11/10 and loving life again

NicF 909 Posted October 25, 2014 It's hard to restrict myself to just five but I'd have to go for 1. Scott Morrison 2. TonyAbbott 3. Joe Hockey 4. Christopher Pyne 5. Kevin Rudd I'm not a big fan of the current ALP leader either but he's mostly invisible at the moment so doesn't go on the list. I'm with Skani about Jackie Lambie in that her honesty and approach are refreshing in the current world of politics. Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving. Diane 507 Posted October 26, 2014 1. Christopher Pyne 2. Peta Credlin 3. Tony Abbott 4. Alan Jones 5. Scott Morrison There are a lot of Australians (non-politicians included) who make my lip involuntarily curl in disdain (not because they are Australians, just for their attitudes, demeanour and arrogance) but these are the top five.
