InNeedOfSun
Hi Folks, I got my second invite to apply for 189 visa in September. I filled in the application, paid the fee and uploaded documents. I got an email stating that my application is submitted and it is in progress. However, yesterday I got a correspondence through Skillselect stating that my invitation will expire in 10 days. When I log into Skillselect there is still an active button ' Apply for Visa'! I am confused, should I just ignore it and hope all is well or do you think I have missed something? I am slightly worried I have done something wrong and visa will get refused! Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance, Paul

lebourvellec
If your visa is lodged and paid for there is nothing to worry about don't think the 2 DIBP systems communicate with each other, your are not the first person on the forum with the same issue. MaggieMay24
There have been a couple of similar posts recently. I gather the invitation system automatically advises you when the invitation will expire regardless of whether you've lodged an application or not. If you've lodged your application, you can simply ignore it.
Captain Roberto
We had that. Seems like a standard automated message as ours was dispatched at 4am on a Sunday morning australia east Coast time.

Captain Roberto
We did pay a mara agent a consultanting fee earlier in the process. So we checked with him and he said it was all ok 'standard'. Which is what we thought, but we did want to check it out. The IMMI site said it got oir application and it took our £4500 - so hopefully it's all ok!
