Bernies88
Hi what would people say the best bank is to go with over here? i signed up with ANZ but they charge me a monthly fee for having the account and have just charged me for transferring money from the UK when ive already paid fees to my UK bank for the transfer. I find this appalling.

Marisawright
We've recently switched to Citibank Plus accounts - fee-free, even international transfers are free and their exchange rate is good. My husband also has an ING Orange account, though they're going to start charging fees unless you deposit a minimum amount each month. I should have added that, there is a fee if you don't deposit $1000 a month, which anyone working will surely do.
Guest The Pom Queen
NAB don't charge a monthly fee and if you use Moneycorp to transfer your money over you won't get charged any fees at all.
