Johndoe 12,987 Posted October 9, 2022 My first spring yella (Golden Perch). Most of the bigger bass sadly went over the North Pine dam wall during the last flooding when they released the gates just as the fish were downstream looking for the salt to spawn and got sucked into the vortex Some of them managed to survive the drop, get down the pine river, into moreton bay, travel South and then into the Brisbane River as can be seen from this tagging certificate. A distance of 126km since the gates were opened early July. Isn't nature amazing! 1 See my art here: https://kevindickinsonfineartphot.smugmug.com/ Copies free to PIO members. PM me for details. Bobj 10,261 Posted October 9, 2022 Just amazing how some fish manage to travel so far from dams. Used to love fishing for the yellas, @Johndoe. Copeton and Glen Lyon Dams were the 2 that I frequented. Last time I fished in a freshwater impoundment was in 2015 for a 114 cm barramundi. at Kinchant Dam, Mackay. Cheers, Bobj.

Cup Final 1973 391 Posted November 24, 2022 So pleased you’re enjoying Derbyshire HappyHeart. Have you managed to find a decent sized coffee or is it like Yorkshire where latte is served in a huge glass?

Have you managed to find a decent sized coffee or is it like Yorkshire where latte is served in a huge glass? I'm not sure because I drink flat white or long mac usually. It was difficult (Not possible) to get a decent coffee where I was. It was all very weak. I found out Flat whites are never served large in UK do had to go to cappuccinos. People struggle with long mac in places at Perth so I didn't bother asking for that!
