The hinterland views from Mapleton to Maleny on both sides of the ridge either towards the sea or inland are stunning. The roses are locally grown.

Lovely Ramot.

You are way ahead of Tassie re the roses.  They won't be flowering here for another month or so.  Some of mine have just started to bud.

Trouble is OH wants urban box and she's bringing in the money and won't move

Dumped meat?
Meat weighing two tonnes been dumped by fly-tippers in Dorset.

Several white bulk bags containing cooked and uncooked rotting meat have been found four locations in and around Wareham.

Dorset Council said the bags were so heavy that lifting equipment was needed to remove them.

Some of the products have been traced back to abattoirs in Bedford, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Council enforcement officers said slaughterhouse workers and butchers had been helping them with their inquiries.

Are these wasps/termite nests? We have thousands of trees on our property but only one of them is covered on every branch with them.

It’s going to be a bad summer. Everything is already brown and we haven’t had rain for months.

Most likely a gall wasp. In it, you will find a wasp grub.

Cheers, Bobj.

Hamelin Bay Augusta. No stingrays yesterday, too choppy. Our closest beach when down south. Only 6 mins drive from our block.

Spring around the town.  My friend's wisteria.    Next door's tall plant that we get the benefit of too.  Cherry blossom near the river.
