Lets look at that prejudice, the NHS is a socialist enterprise, admired across the world, being slowly privatised by the free market Tories,  British Rail was a socialist enterprise now no more and it's replacement by private enterprise gives us the highest rail fares and poorest service in Europe, funny isn't it, ha ha ha.

no no no ...it was LABOUR under tony bliar ,that started the privatisation of the nhs .

I agree about rail - some are very successful and well run - our local line chiltern ,being one .

some are a disgrace - but I remember British rail in the 70s - poor out of date trains - strikes - poor service - it wasn't all wine and roses.
