Has anyone tried the Heston sausages or any other of his new stuff from Coles?

We had these for dinner tonight. They tasted like sausages. :-|

I will eat one cold later to judge fully.

I wasn't keen on his beef pies.

Bunnings sausage sizzle, when I'm on a naughty diet day just love it and I bet they are the cheapest sausages ever! I don't like sausages as a rule but yum just yum.

Get them to hang a hind quarter for a month before butchering it for you.

One of those lasts us about 18 months.

You may have to get a bigger freezer though.

Never ate a boiled turd, but just image one looking and tasting like BUNGS SNAG.

haven't had much luck with snags here tbh...tried most...British Sausage Company pork are acceptable, Mcloughlins Irish Pork are favoured by son and heir, Star of the North pork chipolatas are good...I just dont like the taste of beef sausages, I did like the Italian ones from coles deli but not seen them in a while...Coles Finest are ok but not had many to rival British pork sausage of any kind

I'm quite lucky, I much prefer Aussie sausages. Uk ones have too much pepper in them for my liking.

hmmm... I was going to give those a go... but descriptions such as shite and boiled turd have kind of turned me off, somewhat.

Tried them and they were good as far as supermarket ones go. Plenty of sage which I love.

For those in Perth, in my opinion Boatshed in Cottesloe do the best followed by meadow springs butchers. The so called gourmet butchers in Perth which are mainly Italian can't make a sausage.

Aussie snags are vile, If you want a quallity banger it will inevitably be from a pom, seek out the British butchers there and yo will find.

Avoid the aussie one like the plague , they are made from ground lips and ars3holes with a handfull of sawdust. I don't know how they can sell them under the banner of "sausage" It just isn't right.
