Eng32
Does anyone live in Albany creek and get the train to work to the city? Looks like we're moving to the Forest Estate in Albany Creek and hubby will be commuting to Fortitude valley. Seems silly to drive north to Strathpine station or would it be better to go to Ferny Grove station? Any advice would be great. Many Thanks Edited May 13, 2014 by Eng32

Eng32
Thanks Sioban for the reply, I was really wondering if OH should drive to Ferny Grove station or Strathpine, which would be quicker around 7am as we've been told go to strathpine station but that it here seems no point driving north for then to go south. Thanks anyway. I guess well just have to give it a go.
sioban
If you look at google directions https://maps.google.com/maps?hq=http://maps.google.com/help/maps/directions/driving/mapleft.kml&f=d&dirflg=d at 7am you should get an idea - have found it pretty accurate when I've used it as it takes into account roadworks etc
congleton
Strathpine seems the better option as it is only 10m drive against traffic both ends of the day, easy parking, more train options home as Strathpine and Caboolture lines both stop at Strathpine. debbie13
I think ( although not certain) that Strathpine would be a better option- I live in Eatons hill and can get to the station in around 10 mins and the traffic always seems less busier going in that direction than anything moving south.
