Hi could anyone advise the best schools for an 8 & 10 year old in Upper Coomera please? Many thanks!

Just giving you post a bump,sorry cannot give advise about schools as I live in Oxenford not Upper Coomera. Hopefully someone will be along to answer your question.

Remember you need to be in the school catchment area. Coomera Rivers is a good school https://coomerariversss.eq.edu.au/Pages/default.aspx

and Coomera Springs is also not to bad https://coomeraspringsss.eq.edu.au/Ourschool/Pages/Ourschool.aspx, I do not recommend Upper Coomera State College. Your 10 year old will be going on to high school very soon. There is a new high school at Pimpama https://pimpamassc.eq.edu.au/Pages/default.aspx

 

There are also very good private schools in the area .

There are thousends of schools all over brisbane and suburbs, all have good or bad eliments so important to look deeply into the school to see if it is a good fit for your child and your situation. There is one school on your list which is avoided by many parents for example.

I agree completely with your comment on all schools having good and bad elements. I don't live around there so won't be able to comment on specific schools. I just provided the list of schools which are zoned for area around Upper Coomera and how they perform in NAPLAN - one of the many indicators parents can look to make a informed decision.

Saint Stephens and Coomera Anglican are the local well-rated private schools there. My Godson goes to Coomera Anglican. As Tina said, Upper Coomera State College doesn't have the best reputation, so try to avoid that one if you can.
