 Hi all, I have been to visit family in QLD, seriously loved it and would love to be able to come out and work for a year or two. I'm 52 yr old, nursing for 20 years, and have a Degree in health studies. Is there an age limit on working visas? What are the chances of being given employment for 2 yrs?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.....

I dont think 457 visas have upper age limits like other visas...and you can wrk for upto 4 years in aus...you would need to find a job to sponsor you and have a medical..register with ahpra too...healthstaffrecruitment are very good..will find u a sponsor and go through process wth you..

I am not aware of an age restriction on 457 visas & this would enable you to come out for a year or two.

Most people are sponsored for four years but it can be less.

The challenge would be finding a hospital willing to take you on knowing that there is no route to PR but in areas where there are real shortages, perhaps like more rural areas then they might.

How would you feel returning to the UK afterwards though?
