hiya I'm wanting to move to australia in January 2015 from the UK, I'm going to apply for a working holiday visa and I'm going to complete the three months regional work so that I can apply for the 2nd working holiday visa.. but I'm just wondering what can you do after that to extend your stay? I know you can get sponsored but can you only get sponsored if you're in a skilled job? as I don't really qualify under any of the jobs listed under the skilled jobs .. just wanting a bit of advise, thanks

If you don't qualify under any of the jobs on the csol and sol your only chance if falling in love with an Aussie. ;-)

If you don't have any particular skills, then the only way you would be able to stay in Australia is if you can apply for a Partner visa on the basis of a genuine relationship with an Australian citizen or PR. Every other avenue requires skills.

by skills do you mean qualifications? or the general ability to do your job. Im a fire alarm engineer at home in england and although i have been on plenty of courses none of them will be recognised in Oz. I do however have a wealth of on site experience. ??

thanks in advance

You have to have an occupation on the sol or csol. You also need qualifications in that job. If you google the number next to it you will find the MINIMUM you need to have. That would be for a 457 visa which is an employer sponsored. Often to get a skilled independent visa you need more than they list there for the skills assessment.
