julie and gary 133 Posted January 12, 2014 Hello My husband is a on track machinery technician. he has permanent residency status in Australia, Is there much work in Oz at the minute for his line of work? we have looked on seek etc but find it very hard to find his particular job as I think they call it by a different name over there. Thanks in advance julie
The Pom Queen 5,788 Posted January 22, 2014 Sorry Hun I've no idea, it may be worth writing to the railways direct If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.
abz123 1,311 Posted January 22, 2014 Maybe approach some of the mining companies as they operate privately owned rail networks. BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto are probably the main two for your side of the country. I know Roy Hill were advertising a senior railway role recently so may have other opportunities too but that would be WA but I guess FIFO PIO members are like triangles. Most of us are (a)cute but there are also those who are down right obtuse. Treat us all as equilaterals and we won't fall out.
