Has a big warehouse type building which houses pool table, table tennis, projector, tv, big kitchen (One of the better ones ive seen) Seems a big hostel, never stayed long enough to really get to know people and was with other people when i stayed. Yep free train, being two stops out of Perth City. By no means in the heart of the action, for that you'd want one of the numerous hostels in Northbridge, many a little dire but a bed.
