mya77 Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Hi, I've recently moved to Perth (Kingsley) from Yorkshire in the UK and I'm missing my friends massively! I used to have a big circle of friends but due to working full time mostly Monday to Friday up to now I've not met many to socialise with. I have 2 boys aged 6 and 8 and a hubby who is mountain/road biking mad! I'd love to meet other ladies who are limited on time due to work/kids/both that would like to meet up for coffee, walks, trips to the beach etc and who generally are in a similar situation and would like to increase their social circle and feel less lonely!! Been here 16 mths and have a few work friends but not really had the chance to make friends outside of work. Have a boy of 9 and work the 9-5 slog. How about if everyone posts 1or 2 days that they can be free in the coming couple of weeks and we'll see which can accommodate the majority of us. As a girly only meet up weekend's are out for me as with working full time I spend it with the hubby and kids if I'm off. I am thinking though if a few of us can meet and get to know each other we can then have some family meetups too. It'll be great to have a circle of friends to have BBQ's and trips out to parks/beaches etc as the weather improves.
