We applied for a 457 temp working visa (through new employer in Sydney). My timeline is below:- Application submitted to Sydney CBD - 26th June 06 Medicals sent to LCU - 25th July 06 Medicals received by LCU - 28th July 06 Medicals finalised - 31st July 06 CO processing application further - 2nd August 06 VISA APPROVED - 12th August 06 And for all of you who are worried about medicals conditions, my hubby had cancer and has been in remission for nearly 3 years. We did not expect the medicals to be approved and so quick, but or whatever reason we got it and I think our lives will be changed forever. Anyway, we will be off within 6 weeks!
