Sorry if this has been done before...! I thought it would be interesting to have one thread listing everybody's profession and what it means for you and Oz etc.. :)

I'll start:

Currently studying for a doctorate in electronics.

Masters degree in electronics and electrical engineering.

Conclusion: main specialisation is electronics engineering.

It'll be fun to see who does what :)

Hubby is a web developer and general geek! :GEEK:But only at work bless him!:biglaugh: I am a full time mummy to our 16 month old daughter :wub:at the moment, with a background in advertising. I want to retrain when we get to Oz and become a sign language translator as we have taught our daughter baby sign language! (She can do nearly 50 signs now, it's fantastic!)

Man, I'd love to change to something more practical and less computer-intensive like being a joiner. Only 23, maybe I could!

Great stuff so far!! :D

OH!! For those of you who are electronic engineers in Oz... did you find it easy to get a job? I seem to find these roles to be very rare in Oz!! :(

Hi, im a hairstylist, worked for Toni & Guy for a number of years and been doing my own thing for even more, my wife works in admin but her degree is in environmental management (tree hugger), she graduated a few years back now but not much work in that field over here but looks more promising over there. Moving to Gold coast 30th April and looks like i might be working in Brisbane, either way i will be looking for new clients so if any one would like me to work my magic on their mop then let me know. ( Am i allowed to plug myself on PIO?) , (got some great photos from my last shoot i can show you), (Im very good:). Ok i should probably stop now.

This ones great, checking out what you all do, my wife will like it, she's very nosey( and has great hair).

LOL

John.
