Chortlepuss
I'd like to see a reduced demand for rental in Brisbane and a drop in house prices. Anything habitable in my area is 750pw to rent or 650k + to purchase. There is huge shortage of decent rentals, and tenants are often treated appallingly. I'm old enough to realise that house prices crash everywhere from time to time. In the late 90's in UK we had considerable number of repossessions. But has Australia ever had a housing price crash? flag of convenience
Been hearing that bollox for over 4 decades and it hasn't happened yet. Keep trying...... Nonsense keep up. Changes in affordability over four decades have been enormous. Australia has not had some of the most over inflated house prices over four decades. The rot started around 2004 and steadily worsened with a few smallish downturns on the way.
