( People whose medicals were referred please reply) Visa Lodged : 21 May 2013 , Medicals : 23 May, CO assigned : 3 June (CO received wife's medical the main applicant but didn't receive my medical, secondary applicant. So I mailed him the medical receipt on 3 June itself) , Waiting for PCC , Contacted CO on 19 June regarding my medicals he said " I have been advised that your medicals is under assessment at GLOBAL HEALTH" , PCC submitted : 26 June , Waiting ?????? , Mailed CO regarding medicals on 3 July 2013 no reply yet , Grant : ??????????? My husband is a marketing specialist and we want to apply for 190 but at the moment marketing specialist isnt listed in any snol it is in csol though.... can we still apply for 190? Yes you can, as long as it is on one of the State's skills shortage list. When I applied it was only available through ACT and demand was Limited so google Canberrayourfuture to check. FYI - I originally applied as a Marketing Specialist but got a neg Skills Assessment. VETASSESS then recommended I reapply under 'Project or Program Administrator' as there is a large overlap in Skills amoungs the two occupations. I did, &received a positive assessment in 2 days! I hope yours will be there ASAP. My medical falls under that date. I'm not sure whether your medicals are referred or not but lets if it's not then you can get your grant anytime soon. All the best. However I saw a lot of 189s getting CO before 190s another possibility is that if you submitted meds and pcc before CO assigned... You might get visa granted without any communication with CO. lets hope that's the case for all of us who submitted all docs and still waiting for a CO. lana Hi Lana..I've lodged for my visa 190 Nsw in may 30th and yet ( 7th of july 2013) Co has not been assigned. From what I have seen in the forum, people who after lodging their visa, had their medical and PCC done, got CO faster.. Hi Ishaan...this is Rohit. I believe the hospital will send your medicals..I am not sure about uploading the tax invoice. If you can upload it then I guess no harm in it. Sorry I cannot help :-( About the medicals: we finally got a Co assigned after a month, and she needs some extra stuff (form 80) which we submitted. However, the email that came to us stated we have 28 days to reply or else. It looks like that the case officers are under pressure to meet deadlines so I am not sure if you are going to be able to defer your medical till July. I havent been on here much as i didnt get a CO, so had no change, i got a CO the day before i went on holiday, so emailed him asking to delay a bit, he said he cannot, but if i email him on the 28th day he can help. hopefully booking meds in for the end of this month will be calling this week. Lodged on 8 May 2013, got allocated a CO on 2 June 2013 uploaded everything on around 20 June 2013 and got the grant a week later. From starting the process in September 2012 it has taken me about 10 months to get the visa without an agent. bellaboshade Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 I uploaded all of my documents mid May, adding extras requested by the C.O at the end of May - medicals completed on 7th June and now nothing - no notification that the medicals have been referred or what the delay is - tried to email and got a reply stating my application was being regularly monitored - any ideas anyone?
