familyof4 10 Posted May 2, 2013 We sent our details to vetassess which they received after Easter and 1 week later we were told the OH had passed and to arrange the next stage. So he is booked in for his practical assessment this month. 27/3/13 Sent info to Vetassess, 25/5/13 Vetassess Practical, 12/6/13 Vetassess Successful, 6/12/14 IELTS L8.5 R9 W8 S9, 3/1/15 Lodged 189 EOI (60), 9/1/15 Invite received, 10/1/15 Submitted Visa 31/1/15 Uplodaded Police Certificates, 17/2/15 Medicals Appointment, 12/3/15 VISA GRANTED!!!!! Weston clan 10 Posted May 2, 2013 Think it depends on what type of assessment you are going for. I think the trade assessments seem to be quicker than the general professional ones, I submitted my docs on the 24th Jan and have still not heard back from them! Their website states 10-12 weeks for general, but I am told it is not unusual for it to take longer... IELTS 5th Jan 13 - band 9, Vetassess submitted 31st Jan, granted 10th May, WA SS in 13th May granted 7th June, Visa 190 lodged 10/06 Meds done 22/06 uploaded 29/06 PCC uploaded 8th July VISA GRANT 17th July 2013 :biggrin: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DesiTadka 10 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) My wife applied for Marketing Specialist and she has 10 years of experience working for just ONE company and she has ONE college degree.... the ack date is 1-March-2013 but we haven't heard anything and the online status also says 'Pending'... Keeping the fingers crossed I guess... Thanks guys... Weston clan 10 Posted May 6, 2013 Sadly MeCe I am not sure it means a lot! It does mean that they have received the application and that they have started looking at it. People told me that once you got to 'processing' you should hear in a couple of weeks what your outcome was, sadly that wasnt the case for me and I still had to wait another 6 or so weeks to get my result back! So I think I would say it is positive in that you are in their system and someone is looking at it, there is a chance that you will get a result soon, but I wouldnt bank on it as it could still be a while (I think it just depends who you get working on your case!). hope that helps! The waiting game is a stressful one. As they didn't actually contact her for more info, I am assuming it is moving along nicely and that - being positive - she will get news soon. That is good to hear. My daughter's application was acknowledged on 9th April (no further questions asked), so that gives us a date of 9th July for a 'normal' date for a result. I think perhaps, come the end of June, she should give them a ring. The nudge may help if your experience is anything to go by. Thanks for the response.
