Kerry85 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Hello all, i am in the process of applying for a partner visa and need a police check for canada as i lived there for over a year. I am currently in australia and have had my prints done but my question is what do i send with them? i have seen the list of info required but i cannot for the life of me find a form to fill in with my address and reason for request etc. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! thanks
aussiegirlbay Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Hi, I found this information for you, hope this helps: As such there is no form for Canadian Police Clearance, as you are outside Canada you need to contact nearest police which offers fingerprinting services. The fingerprint forms from foreign countries will contain following information: 1: rolled and flat impressions of all ten fingers taken with black ink 2: full name, date of birth and sex of the applicant 3: the name and address of the police agency 4: the signature of the official taking the fingerprints Please check this link for Final Step (Checklist): http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm Include a short note with the form stating that you require a police clearance based on fingerprints for the reason as indicated on the fingerprint form. You must also clearly state the address to which the R.C.M.P. are to mail the documentation. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!! Aussie Girl Bay
