marconi
Our 175 visa was granted Feb 2011. Timeline Skill Assessment - July 2008 Lodged Visa - Jan 2009 (was then on CSL and was told we would hear within 6 months, 1 month later hubbys job was taken off CSL and was told we wouldn't hear anything until end of 2012) Case Officer allocated - Dec 2010 Medicals - late Dec 2010 VISA GRANTED - Jan 25th 2011 Almost 2 years earlier than expected! Due to being told we were not going to find out the decision until end of 2012, we decided we wouldn't put our life on hold and and decided to have baby number 3. Baby number 3 is not on the original visa! We are therefore in the process of applying for a child visa - another $2000+ (fantastic, not!!). We hope it is granted before we finally make the move in August this year! Stay true to your dream! All good things come to those who wait! Good luck x Hey there Team Edwards, That's strange! The allocation table still only shows that DIAC still busy with 21 May 2008 for 175's. How is it possible that a 175 G5'er from July 2008 has got their application approved in January 2011? Correction - my friend has 189 (only just found that out!). Also, we have GSM 175 although must admit, we have not come across the 'G5' bit before? Maybe that's the difference in yours visa and ours? Good luck anyway...

Oh I see, you may have been a Priority group 2 or 3 hence would've been processed around that time. That would explain it Thanks and keep well

Racoon
Hello, everyone. Kimmo88, please add me on 175 G5 list. 175-cook applied on DEC 2008. No case officer. From Low risk country. No medical and PCC from my country. I already uploaded AFP on OCT 2012. In regards to my AGENT, I don't need a new one because I haven't been to Australia since the last one. Thanks. Racoon
Hi Racoon, Added you in the 175 G5 List... Hi kimmo88,thank you so much. And how do you think about Tejpal's post on this page.(http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/118718-new-category-5s-where-you-now-835.html) Friends, I spoke to my brother, he say that from some sources, that DIAC will make major announcement in coming days/ may be next week for Offshore visa......he not sure what. Let us hope it is good news. I don't know what is big announcement from DIAC mean. I checked the information about 2013-14migration program on this page. (http://www.migrationexpert.com/australia/visa/australian_immigration_news/2013/May/0/697/Australia_Announces_2013-14_Migration_Program) It is same level as previous year. I hope all 175 applicant free from pains soon. Edited June 14, 2013 by Racoon
kimmo88
http://www.iscah.com/Iscahnewsletter180.pdf 13) DIAC Processing Times DIAC will no longer be publishing allocation da tes by processing centre as we are using a number of strategies to mana ge the caseload more efficiently. Generally they are managing allocations via the following: Priority 1: Decision Ready, complete applicatio ns in ANSCO 1 & 2 occupations (by date of lodgement) Priority 2: All other Decision Ready applications (by date of lodgement) Priority 3: ANSCO occupations 1 & 2 requiring further documenta tion (by date of lodgement) Priority 4: All other applications by date of lodgement GSM visas are available here http://www.immi.gov.au/skille d/general-skilled-migration/ estimated-allocation-times.htm For other visa categories are available here http://www.immi.gov.au/a bout/charters/client- services-charter /standards/2.1.htm
Racoon
Hi,kimmo88. I also read it. I think that information is for subclass 186 and 187 visa applications.
