k8bug79 Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 hi, my husband is a chef (oz citizen by descent)and would really like to start up his own outlet. watching wdu the other week there was a small business adviser that basically said getting a business start up loan was basically impossible as they would only loan against assets. we are not in a position where we own or have any significant investment (will obviously work towards having some sort of input). is it really as impossible as it sounded? i think we'd be looking at buying or leasing a unit plus equipment costs etc. anyone able to tell me their experience?
