Former Resident VISA

 

My complete file went off to a tribunal (case by case assessment) on Friday. Does anyone have any idea as to how long the process takes?

 

I have sent off Medicals reports, police checks, letters of correspondance, school reports/photos etc.

 

Any indication of timescale of this type of visa or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your visa is so rare that most people have never heard of it and even if we have - like me - we still haven't a clue how it works. Yours is a job for a specialist in this field, and I know that you have a Migration Agent dealing with it for you.

Had a trawl through your link, I don't know wheather to be happy or sad, all of the 151 applicants had been turned down.

 

At least me and the wife satisfy all the criteria specified!!

 

We'll just play the waiting game like hundreds of others I suppose, will keep you posted (if interested) of our progress (ups and downs).

I am seriously sorry to have ignored you, and equally seriously interested in your progress. I simply don't know the answers myself. Yours is such a rare visa.

 

I think that if you post your question on the Australia & NZ Immigration Forum on British Expats ( http://www.britishexpats.com ) one of the several Agents who contribute to that forum frequently might be able to give you some answers.
