andyandloz10
Hi all. Anybody able to help with this one. The 309 offshore partner visa, form 47SP between question 55-59. It asks "when did the defacto relationship begin" does this mean when we first started dating, or when we first started collecting evidence, or when we knew we'd be applying to australia through this type of visa? Also it asks when did we "commit to a shared life together to the exclusion of all others" again does this mean when did we first start dating, or does it mean move in together? The answers to the above determin whether you need to answer yes or no to the last puzzled question " have you lived separately and apart for any period since starting your shared life exclusion of all others together" You can look at it several ways, but i just wanted other peoples opinions Thanks
Guest GeorgeD
Hi all. Anybody able to help with this one. The 309 offshore partner visa, form 47SP between question 55-59. The answers to the above determin whether you need to answer yes or no to the last puzzled question " have you lived separately and apart for any period since starting your shared life exclusion of all others together" You can look at it several ways, but i just wanted other peoples opinions Thanks The question 'When did the defacto relationship begin' means exactly that. When did your relationship become one where you were de-facto partners. It isn't when you started dating...and it has nothing to do with how or when you've approached the visa process. If the question was when did your marriage start, it would be a bit clearer. For many people in a defacto relationship this will be when you first moved in together. Depending on your circumstances that may not always be the case. Remember if you are claiming to have been in a defacto relationship from a certain time that you should have evidence from then onwards to back up your claims, or have very good reasons why you don't have it. The second one about the shared life together is a bit of a strange one...I always took it to mean when did you start dating...unless of course you were seeing other people while you were dating and somehow think this is a good thing to tell DIAC!
