Guest Guest 47403
I knew you'd be along to put a sarcastic comment in. To us, it was, and we've given the UK a go for over 6 months and Australia is where we prefer. I know you prefer the UK and that is great too. But this is a thread for people who want to tell people what they would miss about the lovely Australia so let it be!! If there's a way to have a sly dig at Australia he will not miss the opportunity!
Del70
We spent 8 months in Australia a couple of years ago. I miss - sunshine and warmth amazing storms interesting wildlife Cherry Ripe chocolate bars free parking (only place we paid for parking was Bondi Beach) free BBQs gorgeous beaches the friends we made in that short space of time
bunbury61
I hear so often about all the things we Brits miss about the UK and of course I miss all those things too. But I would be really interested to hear from those who have moved back to the UK (for whatever reason) What do you miss about living in Australia?? Or what WOULD you miss about Australia if you were to return to the mother land?? Thank you My Aussie mates ....( i avoided the poms like the plague ) i could do with some weather over 5c ......the winter has been long .....not cold , just cold AFL The beach The can do Not enough to want to go back though , the canvas is far broader and deeper in europe If i was 20 again and wanted an outdoor lifestyle i would head to florida or california The big advantages oz had , when i was there have now gone ....the big ones being cheap housing and cost of living Its a great place ......but there are plenty of others

Petals
Wow, it sounds like paradise Still that uncertainty niggling at you, back of the mind, have I done the right thing? Have to keep convincing myself. I am surprised you have not mentioned missing your family, you were a tiny child when you came to Aus so I guess they are still here, or are they over there? If they are here surely you miss them? That would be something you would like about Aus.

Guest
I'm in Australia, probably until I croak, but if I were to make it home; 1. My partner and our daughter. 2. My good friend Dr Karl. 3. Mighty Angus Burgers 4. The quality and range of Slurpees. 5. Mikes Carpets and Rugsamillion commercials.
northshorepom
5. Mikes Carpets and Rugsamillion commercials. Move to Yorkshire and you can still have those: http://www.mikescarpets.com/tv-commercials Super cheesy commercials. You'd almost swear the two companies were related
